Customized Underground Bunkers Gain Popularity, Offering "Personalized Shelter" for Disaster Prevention

As public awareness of disaster prevention grows, customizable underground bunkers have emerged as a new choice for family emergency protection, with market attention rising significantly recently.
These bunkers can be tailored to regional disaster risks. For earthquake-prone areas, their main structure’s seismic grade is enhanced; for typhoon and flood-hit regions, waterproof and airtight designs are upgraded. They also adapt to family size in spatial layout, equipped with emergency communication, food storage, and first-aid kit modules to support 10-14 days of independent shelter life.
A representative from a protective equipment manufacturer stated that the bunkers use a composite structure of reinforced concrete and explosion-proof steel plates, meeting impact and collapse resistance standards. Some models have environmental monitors to display real-time temperature, humidity, and harmful gas levels. Currently, inquiries and installations from villa owners in first-tier cities and suburban self-built house residents have increased by 55% year-on-year.
Emergency management experts noted that these customized bunkers fill the gap in family-level disaster prevention facilities, building a more targeted safety barrier for residents.
